Each year at the annual meeting of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), the Alliance for Pharmacist-Provided Patient Care demonstrates the role of the pharmacist in patient care to state legislators and meeting attendees by demonstrating clinical pharmacy counseling and services. As the longest-running booth at the conference, the Alliance (which IPA, through NASPA, is part of) will return to exhibit Aug. 6-9 in Chicago, Illinois. Volunteers are critical to the success of this endeavor, providing health screenings and medication management reviews to conference attendees.
