Major Week for Pharmacy at the Capitol

The third week of the 2021 Session marked a major week for action on pharmacy priorities. HSB 91, IPA’s COVID and Immunization Response Bill, advanced out of subcommittee unanimously on a 3-0 vote. The bill will now move to the full House Human Resources Committee for consideration.  

2021 Legislative Session – Week 2

The second week of session saw an increase in bill introductions, with the Senate and House combining for almost 120 bills and study bills on Wednesday alone. A number of these bills were healthcare related.

The 89th Iowa General Assembly began this week with legislators returning to the Iowa State Capitol and Governor Kim Reynolds giving her Condition of the State address. 

IPA Releases 2021-2022 Strategic Plan

The IPA Board of Trustees has finalized its 2021-2022 Strategic Plan. This two-year strategic plan includes an updated vision and mission statement, as well as values highlighting collaboration, innovation and inclusivity.
