U.S. Senators have recently sent a letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requesting action on DIR fees. The letter proposes either working directly with Congress to eliminate DIR fees or to take administrative action to resolve this issue.

COVID-19 Update: Federal Mandate Blocked, Vaccine Updates and More

The Supreme Court has blocked the Biden Administration’s nationwide vaccine and testing mandate for large private employers. In addition, the CDC recommends that people who are moderately or severely immunocompromised should get three primary doses (instead of two) followed by a booster shot five months later.

COVID-19 Update: Boosters for Adolescents, Therapeutics Update and More

On Monday, the FDA amended its EUA to approve the Pfizer-BioNTech booster dose for use in adolescents age 12 to 15. The amended EUA also shortens the wait time between primary vaccine series completion and a booster dose from six to five months.
