IPA’s Pharmacy Practice Act Modernization Passes Senate
This week, IPA’s legislative priority to modernize the Iowa Pharmacy Practice Act (HF 555) passed a Senate floor vote (46-0), bringing it one step closer to becoming law. The bill aligns pharmacy practice with other practitioners in the state by implementing a standard of care framework and removing restrictions on pharmacy practice.
