Iowa Medicaid

On April 1, 2016, administration of Iowa’s Medicaid program transitioned to managed care organizations as part of Governor Branstad’s Iowa Medicaid Modernization initiative. The program, now called IA Health Link, will combine physical health, behavioral health, and long-term care in one program across Iowa.
