Activity Description
BOP: What, Why & How is a podcast hosted by IPA’s Casey Ficek or Anthony Pudlo with Board of Pharmacy staff, Andrew Funk or Sue Mears, following each Board of Pharmacy (BOP) meeting. Each episode will focus on WHAT actions were taken by the Board of Pharmacy, WHY the BOP took the actions it did, and HOW BOP action will impact the practice of pharmacy in Iowa.

At the completion of this knowledge-based activity, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to:

Activity Fee
This activity is available at no cost for pharmacist and pharmacy technician members of Iowa Pharmacy Association. There is a $20 fee for non-member pharmacists and pharmacy technicians for access to all six of the 2019 podcast CPE activities.
Dates & Location
Podcast episodes are posted to IPA’s website (www.iarx.org) within 24-48 hours of an open session meeting of the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.

Continuing Education Credit
0.025 CEU/0.25 hrs per episode
CEImpact is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
To obtain 0.25 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit (0.025 CEUs), participants must participate in the on demand activity, and logon to the CEImact website to complete the evaluation located in your CEI Profile. Once successfully completed, click the Submit button that appears in the column of your portfolio titled “CPE Submit”. The CPE Statement of Credit can then be accessed on CPE Monitor, www.MyCPEMonitor.net.
