Healthcare is evolving rapidly, and the roles of pharmacists and technicians are expanding to meet the needs of patients. With the rates of drug morbidity and mortality increasing, it is especially important that, as a profession, we assume our role in health care as the drug therapy experts. Given the advancements of artificial intelligence and technology, the expansion of our scope of practice related to standard of care regulations, and the development of new practice and business models, pharmacy is redefining what is possible in the future.

IPA Awards
The Iowa Pharmacy Association takes great pride in recognizing individuals for their contributions of leadership, patient care, professional involvement, and public service. These awards serve to capture Iowa pharmacy’s spirit of service and its culture of professionalism. IPA Professional Awards will be presented during the Annual Banquet Thursday evening.
Silent Auction
If you would like to donate to the IPA Foundation Silent Auction, please email Laura Miller at lmiller@iarx.org with a short description and approximate value of the item(s) you plan to donate. You can also let IPA do the shopping for you! Click here to provide a monetary donation that IPA will use to create silent auction baskets. All silent auction donors will be recognized.
Bidding for the 2026 Silent Auction will open online on Tuesday, June 2.
