Celebrate Professional Achievements in Iowa Pharmacy at IPA Annual Meeting!

IPA’s Annual Meeting is the epicenter of pharmacy practice in Iowa. Each year, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and student pharmacists come together from across the state to discuss and set policy, share innovative ideas, and make meaningful connections with colleagues and pharmacy leaders. This June, plan to:
  • Take an active role in setting policy that will steer association action.
  • Hear and share innovative ideas to implement at your practice.
  • Build your network and connect with like-minded colleagues.
  • Find new opportunities for collaboration and practice advancement.
  • Recharge and leave invigorated to better serve your patients.

2025 Keynotes

THURSDAY
The Chemistry of Connection: Transform Relationships with the Neuroscience of Trust
Teresa Peterson, EdD, Director of Learning and Development, The Noll Wilson Group

Description: Every single moment we are interacting with someone we are either increasing, sustaining, or decreasing our level of trust with them. There is no neutral in relationships. How often do you slow down enough to see where you or the other person is on this continuum? While we desire high trusting relationships, we often leave them to chance instead of building by choice. Together, we’ll uncover the neurochemistry of trust and how to use it to improve our conversations and ultimately our relationships.

FRIDAY
Iowa Pharmacy Trifecta: Tradition, Transformation and Tomorrow
Erik Maki, PharmD, Dean and Professor, Drake University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences
Jill Kolesar, PharmD, MS, Dean and Professor, University of Iowa College of Pharmacy

Matthew Pitlick, PharmD, BCPS, IPA’s New CEO

Description: Explore how Iowa’s rich pharmacy legacy fuels innovation and drives the profession forward. Join new leaders in Iowa pharmacy to discuss the balance between honoring strong history, embracing transformative practices, and shaping an ambitious vision for the future of pharmacy in Iowa.
