Application Deadline: February 1

Leadership Pharmacy, a new practitioner leadership program, is a unique opportunity available to pharmacists in Iowa and Wisconsin who are interested in becoming leaders in the profession of pharmacy. The program is designed to provide an unequaled opportunity for pharmacists in their first fifteen years of practice to develop leadership skills which will enable both personal and professional growth. Twenty pharmacists, ten each from Iowa and Wisconsin, are selected to participate in this unique program, which begins with a conference in early August. Pharmacists who want to better develop their leadership potential and who desire to make a difference in their profession and the communities in which they practice are encouraged to apply.

In recognition of the importance of this programming to the development of future leadership for professional associations, the Iowa Pharmacy Association and the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, with generous support from McKesson, and practitioners from both Iowa and Wisconsin to endow this important program, have agreed to underwrite all costs associated with program for the selected participants.
