IPA Names Jill Guetersloh as 2022 Executive Intern

IPA welcomes Jill Guetersloh as the association's 2022 Max W. Eggleston Executive Intern in Association Management!
The Iowa Pharmacy Association would like to welcome Jill Guetersloh as the association's 2022 Max W. Eggleston Executive Intern in Association Management. During her internship, Jill will be actively involved in several association initiatives and events.
Jill is from the small town of Nashville in southern Illinois and received a bachelor's degree from Murray State University. Currently, Jill is a P2 student at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She works as a pharmacy intern at MedWiseRx to provide advanced MTM services to patients. Additionally, she serves as President of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy chapter, COO & CFO of the Healthcare Business Leadership program, and Worthy Vice Counselor of the Phi Delta Chi Nu chapter.Jill says, “Like many pharmacists, I was originally drawn to the field of pharmacy by the prospect of helping others. My time in pharmacy school has taught me that advocacy and policy change can provide the opportunity to help multitudes of people for years to come. Iowa is blessed with an incredibly active pharmacy association that excels in advocacy and advancement. There are so many exciting opportunities for the profession of pharmacy happening now and in the next few years! I hope to utilize the skills gained from this internship to continually advocate and affect change for pharmacists and patients alike.”
The Max W. Eggleston Executive Internship in Association Management is a twelve-week program held each summer at IPA. Developed in 1978, the internship provides an educational experience in professional association management and broad exposure to the professional and educational issues confronting the profession of pharmacy. It is supported by the IPA Foundation.
