The Iowa Pharmacy Association (IPA) would like to congratulate the newly elected members of its Board of Trustees. The following individuals will be installed and welcomed to the Board at the 2023 IPA Annual Meeting, June 15-16 in Des Moines, Iowa.
 
President-Elect: Jim Hoehns, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP – Cedar Falls 
Trustee Region 2: Natalie Hunter, PharmD – Cedar Falls 
Trustee Region 4: Wendy Kinne, PharmD – Boone 
Trustee At-Large: Brett Faine, PharmD, MS – Iowa City 
Trustee At-Large: Cory Garvin, PharmD – Wilton 
Pharmacy Technician: Connie Bentrott, CPhT – Ames 
 
In addition, John Hamiel, PharmD, IPA's current president-elect from Evansdale, Iowa, will be installed as the association's 145th president at the Annual Meeting. Hamiel is the Regional Director of Pharmacy for MercyOne Northeast Iowa and was elected to the position last spring.

The IPA Board of Trustees is the executive branch of the association, consisting of sixteen pharmacists from diverse practice settings, one pharmacy technician, and two student pharmacists. Each year, candidates are chosen by a nominations committee to succeed those trustees who will complete their terms.
