Congratulations Newly Elected Members of the IPA Board of Trustees

The Iowa Pharmacy Association (IPA) congratulates the newly elected members of its Board of Trustees. The following individuals will be installed and welcomed to the Board at the 2024 IPA Annual Meeting, June 20-21 in Coralville, Iowa.
 
PRESIDENT-ELECT: Wes Pilkington, PharmD, Cedar Falls

TRUSTEE REGION 3: Helen Eddy, RPh, MBA, West Des Moines

TRUSTEE AT LARGE: Andrew Stessman, PharmD, West Des Moines

TRUSTEE AT LARGE: Betsie Frey, PharmD, BCPS, Cedar Falls

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN: Kelly Andersen, CPhT, Des Moines
 
In addition, Jim Hoehns, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, IPA's current President-Elect from Cedar Falls, Iowa, will be installed as the association's 146th President at the Annual Meeting. Hoehns is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and Ambulatory Care Preceptor at Cedar Valley Primary Care. He was elected to the position last spring.

IPA thanks all candidates for their leadership in running and demonstrating their willingness to serve the profession in this capacity! 
 
The IPA Board of Trustees is the executive branch of the association, consisting of sixteen pharmacists from diverse practice settings, two pharmacy technicians, and two student pharmacists. Each year, candidates are chosen by a nominations committee and elected by their peers to succeed those trustees who complete their two-year terms.
