Congratulations Newly Elected Board Members

The Iowa Pharmacy Association (IPA) congratulates the newly elected members of its Board of Trustees. The following individuals will be installed and welcomed to the Board at the 2025 IPA Annual Meeting, June 5-6 in Des Moines, IA.

President-Elect: Heather Ourth, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, FASHP, West Des Moines
Trustee Region 2: Dana McDougall, PharmD, BCPS, BCOP, Hudson
Trustee Region 4: Andrew Wagner, PharmD, Eagle Grove
Trustee At Large: Omobola Thompson, RPh, MPH, Clive
Trustee At Large: Mylo Wells, PharmD, Bloomfield
Pharmacy Technician: Kimerly Metcalf, CPhT-Adv, Cedar Falls

In addition, Wes Pilkington, PharmD, IPA's current President-Elect from Cedar Falls, will be installed as the association's 147th President at the Annual Meeting. Pilkington is a pharmacist and owner of Evans Crossing Pharmacy in Evansdale, IA.

The IPA Board of Trustees is the executive branch of the association, consisting of sixteen pharmacists from diverse practice settings, two pharmacy technicians, and two student pharmacists. Each year, candidates are chosen by a nominations committee and elected by their peers to succeed those trustees who complete their two-year terms.
