IPA Welcomes 2025 Summer Executive Intern Volta Adovor

IPA welcomes Volta Adovor, a 2027 PharmD candidate at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, as the 2025 Max W. Eggleston Summer Executive Intern. As IPA's Executive Intern, Volta will gain experience in all aspects of association work and a broad exposure to the issues impacting the profession.
The Iowa Pharmacy Association (IPA) welcomes Volta Adovor, a 2027 PharmD candidate at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, as the 2025 Max W. Eggleston Summer Executive Intern. As IPA's Executive Intern, Volta will gain experience in all aspects of association work and a broad exposure to the issues impacting the profession.Volta earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2023. She has worked as a pharmacy intern in the health system and retail space and is extremely active on campus. Volta serves as Class President, Recruitment Co-Chair of Iowa Phi Delta Chi-Nu, Vice President of Phi Lambda Sigma, Parliamentarian of the Student Leadership Council, and on the programming committee of the Student Engagement Team. In addition, Volta attended the 2024 Bill Burke Student Pharmacist Leadership Conference and serves on IPA's Legislative Advisory Committee.
Volta's first day at IPA is May 19, 2025.
Started in 1978, the IPA Max W. Eggleston Summer Executive Internship Program is a twelve-week program held each year at IPA headquarters that provides student pharmacists with experience in professional association management.
