IPA looks to its membership to advance The Journal of the Iowa Pharmacy Association as a peer-reviewed journal. Consider sharing your knowledge and expertise as a peer reviewer.

- As a peer reviewer, you will only be asked to peer review up to two articles every 12 months.
- As a peer reviewer, you will have 2 weeks to review an article.
- Online training via webcast is available for pharmacists interested in becoming reviewers.
- Not all journal content will be peer reviewed. Submitted manuscripts, research articles, case reports, and other contributions will be peer reviewed. (Staff-generated content, including news articles, editorials, and interviews will not be peer reviewed.)

Complete this survey to indicate your areas of expertise. Journal articles will be sent out to peer reviewers based on areas of expertise indicated.
Step 2
Watch this training session, which details how to peer review journal articles. The webinar covers key points on how to review an article, including reviewer responsibilities and methods of review. Example peer review comments will be analyzed to guide instruction.

Email IPA (ipa@iarx.org) after you have completed the webinar training above. Documentation of completion is required prior to reviewing manuscripts.
