Version 2.0 now available! Beginning July 1, 2021, all pharmacies across Iowa became eligible to provide test & treat services for individuals six years or age and older. Along with testing for influenza, strep, and covid-19, pharmacies can prescribe treatment following a positive test result via the Statewide Protocols developed by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Public Health. To assist your pharmacy practice in implementing Test & Treat services, IPA developed a toolkit consisting of resources to assist with the CLIA waiver process, education requirements, supply procurement, and much more!
