Test & Treat Toolkit
On July 1, 2021, all pharmacies across the state of Iowa became eligible to provide test and treat services for individuals six years of age and older. Along with testing for influenza, strep, and COVID-19, pharmacies can now prescribe treatment following a positive test result as outlined in the statewide protocols.
Version 2.0 now available!
IPA has developed a toolkit of resources to assist your pharmacy in implementing test & treat services. Recent updates include new Informational Letters from IME, changes to the COVID-19 section with the expiration of Iowa’s Public Health Disaster Emergency Proclamation, and link corrections.
